Patrick Brice is directing Violet, a psychosexual horror film with a cast that includes Lili Reinhart, Danny Ramirez, Suki Waterhouse, Lukas Gage and Mark Duplass. Waterhouse plays Violet, who died suddenly two years before the story's present. Ramirez is Sean, her fiancé at the time of her death, and after two years of grief he starts a relationship with Kate (Reinhart). Kate and Sean take up residence in a house that Sean had previously shared with Violet, and that's when unsettling texts start arriving from an unknown sender claiming to be his dead ex.
