WWE merger lawsuit ruling Vince McMahon Nick Khan

A new ruling in the WWE merger lawsuit has dealt a major blow to Vince McMahon and Nick Khan. Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster found that both men destroyed evidence, and as a result, the court will treat five damaging facts as presumptively true when the case goes to trial next month. The ruling also revealed that McMahon, Khan, Paul Levesque, Stephanie McMahon, and Brad Blum all used Signal’s auto-delete function, wiping out messages they had a legal duty to preserve. This is a significant setback for the defendants, which include McMahon, Khan, Levesque, George Barrios, and Michelle Wilson. The case will now be much harder, especially for McMahon and Khan, to overcome the shareholder plaintiffs’ allegations.
