Christopher Nkunku has opened up about his early career struggles. When he was coming through the PSG academy, he used to play in midfield with stars like Verratti, Rabiot, and Matuidi ahead of him in the pecking order. He could not get any playing time. Everything changed after his move to Leipzig. The head coach told him that he would be deployed as a second striker and centre forward. That switch in position completely rewrote his career path and turned him into a goal-scoring machine.
