Senator Mitch McConnell has broken his silence after weeks out of the public eye. The longtime Republican leader revealed that he was briefly knocked unconscious a few weeks ago and was rushed to the hospital. Since then, he has been recovering from a mild infection. The update comes after a prolonged period away from the Senate, during which his absence sparked widespread speculation. McConnell was photographed alongside his wife, former Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, in what appears to be a hospital setting.
