Micheal Carrick noted Cunha, Mbeumo, and Youri Tielemans have been very good in training, with a special mention for Mbeumo who kissed him twice today. He expressed being extremely happy to have them in the squad because while quality is obvious, their hunger impresses him most. Mbeumo brings personality and intelligence, Tielemans offers unpredictability, and Cunha provides incredible speed and finishing. Carrick explained that a coach's job is creating structure so players can express themselves freely. He emphasized that names don't win trophies, requiring the team to work, defend together, suffer together, and fight for every game.
