    What are the most damaging temptations for guys?

    My dad used to say that a guy can't really help being drawn to women, betting, or booze. He figured that what starts as just checking things out can turn into a regular thing, and for some, a real problem. Even if it doesn't get that bad, those things can creep into your life and cause trouble.

    I'm not totally sure if he's always right, but I've thought a lot about whether those are the main traps for guys. What's your take? What do you think are the biggest pitfalls for men?

    Honestly, my biggest temptation is sweets like cake and donuts. I'll have a little whiskey sometimes, but gambling's not my thing, and my wife is so stunning none of that other stuff matters to me anyway.

    Chasing power over skill. Validation from others instead of yourself. Prioritizing comfort over enduring hardship for growth. Complaining about unchangeable things instead of acting on what you can control.

    im not tempted by gambling, smoking, or booze at all. but food? definitely. i struggle with binge eating when bored, so i just dont keep snacks around the house to fix it

    i see alcohol as a drug too. people draw lines differently, but you can use opiates and both alter your mind. complaining is valid sometimes, but i found most people don't wanna hear it, so timing and topic matter.
