The project that became Man in Black, or Men in Black, was meant for the Dangerous album but never saw the light of day until it leaked on a specific date in 2020. Sessions took place between 1989 and 1990 after Michael Jackson heard Steven Spielberg was developing a film called Men in Black. The irony is that Jackson later appeared in a cameo role in Men in Black II released in 2002. Teddy Riley joined the production process, leading to the project being abandoned. Bryan Loren collaborated with Jackson on the rhythm track in 1989, yet the work was discontinued when Teddy Riley began production in 1990.
