Iceman

Canadian rapper Drake released his ninth studio album, Iceman, on May 15, 2026, through OVO Sound and Republic Records. The project arrived as the final piece of a historic triple-album rollout that included two surprise companion releases earlier in the year. Spanning 1 hour and 8 minutes across 18 tracks, the record centers on a cohesive concept built around ice and cold motifs, moving from literal references like Frozen and Glacier to metaphorical entries such as Thaw and Eternal Ice.

Production relied heavily on Drake's inner circle to craft a polished, atmospheric sound that marked a return to solo material after years of collaborative efforts. Guest spots remained limited but significant, with Future and Molly Santana appearing on select cuts. The tracklist reinforces the thematic framework, creating a sonic landscape that aligns with the album's icy aesthetic.

Commercial performance was immediate and dominant. The album secured the number one spot on the U.S. Apple Music chart for 46 consecutive days, surpassing the previous record held by Certified Lover Boy. It also reclaimed the top position on the Billboard Canadian Albums Chart after spending weeks at number two. A single from the project debuted at number one on the American singles chart, helping Drake set a new record for the most number-one hits by a male artist in that chart's history.

In July 2026, Drake hinted at an Iceman tour during a club appearance. Promotional efforts extended into fashion and sports collaborations; notably, he partnered with Nike to debut a custom crystal-covered white glove inspired by the album cover. This item was gifted to attendees at the NOCTA Manor 2026 retreat, including NBA stars Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. Critical reception remained mixed, with reviewers divided on the album's artistic merits despite its overwhelming commercial success. [düzenle]
