Internet Girl

Katseye released "Internet Girl" as a standalone single on January 2, 2026. The track arrives through HYBE UMG and Geffen Records with a runtime of 2 minutes and 43 seconds. It functions as a precursor to the group's second EP, Beautiful Chaos, establishing a sonic identity built on dance-pop and hyperpop foundations.

The production team led by SAYMYNAME, Tyler Spry, and Peter Fenn crafted a sound defined by rapid synth patterns and glitchy vocal processing. Writers Leland, Lara Rajagopalan, Sophia Laforteza, and others addressed themes of digital obsession where virtual interactions blur into real life. Critics like Pitchfork noted the song captures the specific dopamine rush of seeking online validation.

Commercial performance included a debut at number 67 on the Billboard Global 200 and a peak of number 31 on the UK Singles Chart. In the US market the track reached number 3 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 and number 24 on Pop Airplay. A viral campaign on TikTok drove over 450 million views for the hashtag #InternetGirlKatseye, prompting covers from artists such as Dixie D'Amelio and NewJeans. [düzenle]
